Dissertation Research
The Jasarevic Lab is interested in understanding the role of the gut microbiome in reproductive health, and I’m specifically studying the role of the maternal gut microbiome in placental development. We hope to use these insights to understand how ancient, coevolved mother-fetus-gut microbiome interactions influence maternal and fetal health today.
